Roy Taylor, Managing Director of Malthouse Engineering, has entered a new era after turning 80 years old on 31st March 2024. Employees at the company held a celebration to commemorate the special occasion.
Roy is a seasoned industry professional, and has worked in manufacturing for over 50 years with 41 of those years being Managing Director of Malthouse. A dedicated leader and advocate for UK manufacturing, Roy is still heavily involved in the day to day tasks at Malthouse.
The company is also one of the longest running members of Made in the Midlands, a trade organisation for UK manufacturing, in which Roy still attends events regularly to keep up with industry trends and network with like minded professionals.
To celebrate his birthday, employees at Malthouse organised a birthday bash with banners, balloons, cake and even a glass of Fizz.
