In a recent article in The Telegraph Malthouse Engineering Managing Director Roy Taylor talks of his frustration at the lack of available industry property within the West Midlands. Following a strong first half of 2017 Malthouse Engineering are seeking to expand however the lack of suitable space is holding back potential growth.
Alan Tovey at The Telegraph finds that The availability of UK industrial space has fallen on average by 62pc since 2009, with the West Midlands worst affected, dropping 72pc. Across the UK, there was enough space to sustain about 3.6 years worth of demand in 2009; now there is enough for just 1.3 years at current take-up levels.
